Honoring by Regrowing

Honoring by Regrowing

Good morning fellow gardeners! Or non-greened thumbed people who want to be gardeners like me. I’d like to share some of my favorite plants to grow because they are super easy and no fail! I know that you might be thinking that this post does not quite follow the theme of my blog in “honoring people, places, or things” but I can help give you a few ideas how it might.

How many of you would like to have a beautiful world to live in? We really already do, take a look outside, go for a hike and see all the beautiful creations of God around you! It’s lovely and will brighten anyone’s day when looked at with joy in mind.

But, we also live in a world where so much is wasted! Think of trash that is thrown away and piled into the earth. If you like to try to do your part in helping reduce trash and help recycle in your life then why not recycle plants and food as well? Not only is it good for your health and wallet, but it’s also great for the Earth!

When we recycle and reuse, we are helping to HONOR this beautiful Earth that we live on. BOOM! That’s how this is an “honoring” post. And is it art? Have you seen a beautiful garden? There may not be flowers in a vegetable garden, but there is definitely something pleasing to the heart and the eye when I see a large colorful garden that is edible.
